Wow! Pretty good.. Maybe the lips are a little too defined, don't know.. Anyway, I think it's great. :+fav:

Thanks for the comment. But the ref pic was having similar features. I'm trying to learn. Comments like yours help a lot. Thanks again.

Very nice!!
Maybe the eyelashes are a bit too beetle. But it's a fine portrait indeed! The reflections in the eyes are really gorgeous! :wow:
Keep it up! Never stop drawing!!!

Thanks for the comment. I couldn't understand what you meant by eyelashes being too beetle. Please explain.

Sid, that is wonderful, again.
One suggest? : just add some middle tones too
So you have then finally: darks - middles - light tones AT LEAST
But it is lovely as it is!

Thanks a lot! And Belated Happy Birthday! Incidently my younger sister shares the birthday with you. She's 12.

Thanks for that. I'm just afraid of doing middle tones with the charcoal pencil. I'm afraid that i'll make the lighter parts too dark and thus i end up having light lones. It's better in graphites. Please check the Preity Zinta II sketch. I don't think I have the same problem there. Do you know any alternatives for charcoal if i want really black shades? 6Bs don't work.

sorry - no - I am not an expert about pencils and such - you may try a pastelpencil?
And my advice would be: start with the middle tones - then you can add always darker tones and highlights (even maybe you just erase some...)
:)
